Nick Deimel is the Head of Private Sales, Modern Art for the Americas. He is responsible for leading the Private Sale initiatives in this key area of growth by overseeing its strategy and driving business development. Under Nick’s leadership the Private Sales category in the Americas has seen consistently strong year-over-year growth.
In addition to contributing to the company’s Private Sale strategy, Nick has been instrumental in advising important clients in Europe and in the US. Prior to his appointment in New York, Nick has led Modern & Contemporary Art for Sotheby’s in Zurich. Nick started his career at Sotheby’s in the Contemporary Art department in London in 2014. He holds a Masters of Science from London School of Economics.
